Data extraction on PDF bank statements usually takes a few minutes but can take up to 48h.
When data extraction is completed on a bank statement, a new Bank X-Ray report is generated.

You can also collect banking data with PDF bank statements. In that case, October Connect’s OCR will first analyse the bank statements to extract banking transactions necessary to generate the Bank X-Ray. That usually takes less than 5 minutes.
If October Connect’s OCR fails to extract the banking data, we use an alternative extraction method that can take up to 48 hours (2 working days) to analyse the information.
While the banking information is being extracted from the bank statement, the bank statement status will appear as “in progress”. As soon as the document has been processed, the status will be updated. Learn more about extraction status
